Howdy, and welcome to my site! My name is Laura Clements. I got the idea of writing this blog after I applied and was offered an invitation to serve in the Peace Corps. My hope with this blog is to share my experiences in Armenia and the culture that I am coming to love.

I'm a little bit of a conundrum to myself. In all reality, I'm an awkward, shy, introverted person and am scared of a lot of things. However, I sometimes surprise myself and am able to step outside of my comfort zone by putting myself out there and trying new things that I didn't think were possible.

One thing I've come to learn about myself is that I can't let my fear stop me from doing the things that I want to do. Fear is the opposite of faith and stops us from reaching our potential.

In writing this blog I want to share the little and big moments in life's travels that shape us into who we are. We are so much more than what we think. I hope you'll follow me on my journey and be inspired to step outside of your comfort zone too and trust in God and the process.
